Network security is an integral part of Presagia’s IT process, which follows industry-standard best practices including firewall protection, intrusion detection, software patch management, and continual vulnerability and penetration testing. Within the hosting environment, all data at rest is encrypted and all data coming into and out of the system is encrypted in transit. Firewalls also restrict data access between each layer in the infrastructure.

By nature, SaaS solutions are web-based, providing customers anytime, anywhere access via the Internet. As well, to address different disaster recovery scenarios, our hosting setup employs clustering technologies and multiple levels of continuous data replication and backup across several geographic regions. A distributed monitoring and alerting system automatically notifies Presagia of any issue related to the application or hosting infrastructure, so we can solve problems before they impact our customers.
