René is a seasoned business executive and technology/operational leader, with more than 25 years in the HR & Benefits industry, bringing to Presagia his extensive experience in all aspects of leading and successfully growing an organization. He has devoted his career to transforming businesses by designing strategies and executing plans that enhance technology products and innovate, scale operational capabilities, energize the workforce, capture new markets, and improve customer experience. René is a trained actuary and has held an array of senior leadership positions, including CIO/CTO overseeing the technology of Morneau Shepell and leading their US division, and COO for the global consulting firm, Mercer.
David holds a business degree from McGill University and was co-founder and COO of Pyrate Communications, a film production company specializing in computer animation, before founding Presagia in 1987. Since then, he has directed and managed the growth and specialization of the company. Dave has also held roles at Allscripts/Eclipsys as Director, Solutions Management Group, and at Sectra North America, as Executive Director, Sectra RIS.
Mitchell holds a degree in Political Science from Carleton University and a Certificate in Business Management from McGill University. With a background in accounting, finance, manufacturing, sales and international business, he joined Presagia in 2010 and has over 20 years of management experience. In addition to directing Presagia’s finances and administration, Mitchell also manages the Presagia Sports product line.
George holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from St. Petersburg University and has been working in software development and technology-related professional services since 1990. Prior to joining Presagia, he held the position of Senior Enterprise Architect at Bombardier, specializing in enterprise portal technologies and systems integration. At Presagia, George is responsible for architecture, technology, security, and Presagia’s hosting platform.
Bob holds a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology from McGill University, pursued graduate level studies in Computer Science at Queens University, and has more than 35 years of professional software development experience. Since joining Presagia in 2002, Bob has led the development of Presagia Leave, Presagia Sports, and the Anti-Doping and Administration System used by the World Anti-Doping Agency. Currently, he is focused on defining the requirements for new products and integration with third party products.
Allan holds a B.Sc. from Memorial University and an Electronics Engineering degree from NBCC. He brings to Presagia a wealth of experience implementing and integrating information technology solutions at diverse organizations, including iMagicTV and Speedware, as well as experience in various senior human resources positions. Since joining Presagia in 2008, Allan has served in many roles and helped drive Presagia’s vision in leave and accommodation.
Geoff holds a B.A. in Political Science from McGill University, and has been with Presagia since 2004 in a variety of roles working on sales, marketing, and partnerships. Working closely with companies ranging from a few hundred employees up to Fortune 500 and reviewing their issues and requirements has strongly positioned him to understand the needs of employers today while retaining extensive knowledge of Presagia’s technology. He has authored several articles, whitepapers and case studies on absence management best practices and presented at industry events.
Matthew holds a Bachelor’s of Commerce Degree from Mount Allison University, and joined Presagia in 2014. From his early days as a Support Specialist, to now managing the Operations Department, Matthew has developed extensive experience working with clients through their implementation and support needs. Matthew has a strong understanding of Presagia’s technology, the absence management industry, and the diverse requirements of clients. He brings this expertise to the role of Director of Operations, and now manages the team responsible for our implementation and support success.
